Jouer Cosmetics Headquarters
The office studio was the first time collaborating with other students on a project. My partner and I were both excited to create a lively and engaging space for cosmetics company Jouer. Our design embodies the playful and feminine spirit of the brand.
Collaborating was an insightful exercise in delegation and communication - two characteristics that I believe lead to successful designs and successful companies. It was not about compromising, but rather about working together to create a functional and beautiful client-centered space.
The inspiration for the concept is all about feminine strength. The dichotomy of being a woman - strength and beauty - can be both soft and loud. We wanted to strike that balance in the design as much as possible and create a space that felt empowering and playful, but not too “girly”.
