The Temperaments International Building

The Temperaments International Building was the result of the second group project for the office design studio. Two teams from the first project came together to create a cohesive design for an office building’s lobby and shared space on the second floor.

The Temperaments International Building is for branded companies seeking a firm place to grow. The design evokes the five elements - earth, water, wind, fire, and metal. Wood and stone provide a firm foundation, rooted in the earth, while the fluidity of the space echoes that of water. Wind is the space you need to continue growing and with a light and airy feeling throughout the building. Fire, the life force that burns in all of us, fuels the energy you need to ge the job done and is seen in the warm color palette throughout. Metal embodies the human strength in all of us and alludes to the courage and mental sharpness needed to be successful. All of these elements must coexist and depend on each other to keep growing. This building works to influence all who enter by inspiring and encouraging them be their best selves.
